One thing I recently noticed on this trip was how docile dogs are. On past trips it was not uncommon to be chased by dogs. And, sometimes those dogs were downright unfriendly. However, many dogs we have passed on this trip don't even get up. Others only bark halfheartedly.
And, the other day a dog chased us but just trotted along side us for awhile wagging it tail the whole time. Some dogs undoubtedly were constrained by invisible fences but that doesn't account for all dogs. A mystery!
