Last night was a relaxing stay at the Bar Harbor Regency. We met our third riding partner - Larry - this morning and set off through Acadia National Park heading to our campground destination in East Orland, Maine. The park is quite hilly. And, we made a wrong turn and climbed a large extra hill!!! Later in the day I made another wrong turn and climbed a large hill before Hal called my cellphone to tell me to come back down the hill.
We ended up riding about 48 very hilly miles to a campground. The campground is very nice although the sites are hard packed stone for RVs. Luckily I have my lightweight cot so I don't feel the hard stones.
