Hal tried some boiled peanuts at a stop during the day. I think he found them too spicy. He also tried grits last week - he likes grits!!!

Today was a relatively easy 64 mile day to a motel in Blackshear, GA. There were very few places to stop today so we made good time and arrived at the motel before 5 pm.

The riding was actually a little boring today. It was predominately flat terrain with some rolling hills sprinkled throughout the day. Mostly we rode by replanted pine forests which look a little odd because the trees are all the same size and they are all planted in evenly spaced rows. We also same a lot of log trucks carrying newly cut pine trees.

The sky was overcast most of the day so that blocked the sun and made riding comfortable. We lucked out again with regard to rain. We only had some very light rain sprinkles for a few minutes. I hope our luck holds with regard to the weather.
