We crossed the river from our campground in PA to Frenchtown, NJ where we had a leisurely breakfast.

We found a really nice bike path in Frenchtown which goes all the way to Trenton, NJ. We are going to ride on it to Lambertville, NJ. So far it is easy riding along the river on hard packed dirt/cinders. The above picture is a map of the trail. It includes 30 miles on each side of the river so you can do a 60 mile relatively level loop.
