We covered 57miles today and are camping at the Aquia Pines campground in Stafford, VA.
The campground has a laundry which is a welcome thing. I am still hand washing my bike clothes in the sink but drying them in a dryer avoids having to hang them on the back of the bike during the day.
Today was again a reasonably easy day with small rolling hills but no steep or long hills. It is amazing how much easier riding a loaded recumbent is without large hills.
Much of the day was spent riding in Prince William county, VA. The amount of growth in this area is amazing. Nothing looked more than twenty years old which reflects the fact that this used to be a sparsely populated rural area. And, significant building of both commercial and residential units appeared to be ongoing. Riding in this area you would think the economy was booming. Unfortunately, some of the roads were still country roads with no shoulders and heavy traffic.
