Today was a semi-rest day. Semi because we ended up riding 43 miles. We left our tents setup in the campground and cycled into downtown Charleston which we spent the day exploring via bike.

The person on the right of the photo is Jim Sampson who joined us today. Jim, who lives in Atlanta, rode with Hal and Andy across the U.S. on the Bikecentennial Trans-America route in 1976. It is the first time Hal and I have seen Jim since that trip which was 36 years ago. It was great to see Jim again.
