Today was a 62 mile day. The morning was nice and sunny and the riding was generally rolling hills with a few steep ones thrown in. We crossed into Maryland in late morning. As soon as we crossed the Maryland state line we noticed more stores, restaurants, and gas station/convenience stores than we had seen in PA.

In the afternoon we saw a huge storm suddenly blow in. The sky got very dark, it got very windy, and it started raining heavily. We waited out the storm for about an hour in a deli. After it cleared we started out riding in light rain which turned into a moderate rain for the remainder of the day. We arrived at a motel in Towson, MD pretty late and very wet. Towson is close to Baltimore. Above is my stuff in the motel.
