The view from lunch today in Surf City, NC.
We stayed awhile in Surf City because the view was so beautiful. We then rode to Wilmington, NC which had an interesting downtown. They had an historic sign in front almost every house. We decided to push on and ended up doing 83 miles for our longest day of the trip I think. We are camping in a state park in Carolina Beach, NC. I think we will reach SC tomorrow.
In yesterday's campground we saw a very weird thing which exemplifies an oxymoron - an outhouse with a flush toilet. See pics at:
