This morning we woke to sunny weather and it stayed dry all day. Had to stop at a laundromat to dry everything from the day before. After that and a quick breakfast at a cafe we had another hilly 45 mile day. Went through Brunswick, Maine which was a neat college town and home to Bowdoin College. Also, went through Freeport, Maine where LL Bean and a multitude of other stores are located - very crowded with tourists and shoppers. Finally, stopped for the night at a state park near Pownal Center - Bradbury Mountain State Park. Shortly after setting up our tents a thunderstorm hit and it has been continuously raining since then. Good news is that I made it into my tent quickly. Bad news is that my tent floor is leaking! I will probably have to pick up a new tent somewhere. Hopefully it rains all night and tomorrow is dry!!
